Tonto Dikeh, born Tonto Wigo Charity Dikeh, is a Nigerian musician, actress, and philanthropist. She was born on June 9, 1985, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Tonto Dikeh started her career in the entertainment industry as an actress in 2005. She has since then appeared in numerous Nollywood movies.
Early Life
Tonto Dikeh was born into a family of seven, with her being the third child. Her father was a teacher while her mother was a businesswoman. Tonto Dikeh grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where she attended her primary and secondary school education. She later proceeded to the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, where she studied Petrochemical Engineering.
Career
Tonto Dikeh started her career in the entertainment industry as an actress in 2005. She made her Nollywood debut in the movie “Tea or Coffee.” She gained popularity after her role in the movie “Dirty Secret” and has since then acted in several Nollywood movies. In 2012, she released her first single “Hi” featuring Snypa.
