Tomi Odunsi was raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She attended the University of Lagos where she obtained a degree in Linguistics and African Languages. After graduation, she went on to pursue acting and music as a career.
Career
Tomi Odunsi started her career as an actress. She made her acting debut in the TV series, Shuga, in 2009. In 2011, she landed her breakthrough role as Salewa in the TV series, Tinsel. She played the role for six years before leaving the show in 2017.
Aside from acting, Tomi Odunsi is also a singer and songwriter. She released her debut single, “I Wan Blow” in 2013. The song was well received and earned her a nomination for the Best Vocal Performance (Female) at The Headies 2013. She has since released other songs including “Waka Waka” and “Hopeless Romantic”.
