He attended Chrisland Schools and later moved to the United States to pursue his studies in engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. However, his passion for music led him to drop out of school and pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Ikechukwu’s career started in 2006 when he released his debut album, “Son of the Soil.” The album was a critical and commercial success, with hit singles like “My Name is Ikechukwu” and “Shobedobedoo.”

In 2007, Ikechukwu formed a music group called “Mo’Hits Allstars” along with other musicians like Don Jazzy, D’banj, and Wande Coal. Together, they released several hit singles like “Booty Call,” “Move Your Body,” and “Why Me.”
